Just over a week ago Bryn had a couple of pretty low days where he kept having low oxygen spells and was going down several times a day. I talked to Rob and wondered if I should let him go. But then I felt panicy as I knew what would happen if they couldn't find a vein and couldn't put him through that.
Anyway after those 2 days he seemed to perk up a bit and gather strength again so I sure am glad I didn't call the vet. He seems to had evened out once again and his body is compensating somehow for the lack of blood cells, yes he still has feignting episodes most days but if I can stop him getting excited they are less.
Bryn is still on antibiotics daily and he now has JWB with a spoonful of seaweed, an immune support supplement and half a banana a day. I have also found that by giving him a small breakfast and a few snacks during the day helps to keep his energy levels a bit more even and helps to prevend him running out of steam.
We have a pair of pet rats here on holiday which Bryn spends his every waking moment fixed on them, neither him nor the rats dare to move so they remain locked in a sort of trance like state for ages and ages! He's also obsessed with the kittens at work and spends his time outside stalking them and dribbling when they come and rub round his legs!
